My Koma Field Kit radio does not seem to scan or have any output..

Should I replace the SI4865 IC or what is best way to troubleshoot?

It looks like there are a few threads in other forums with users that have the same problem and one replaced the IC with success...

One of my projects has me using a set of four Spectra Symbol 300mm 10k softpots (See attached photo of temp layout) and I am wondering if I could use 4 of your soft pot boards with these?

Lastly, would I be able to just buy the boards if that is the case?

Does the sequencer expect steady clocks or will it be able to handle irregular triggers as clock source as well?

My field kit fx delay has suddenly stopped working. Signal going thru isn’t delayed anymore with no feedback. Manual and Cv control of time and fdb parameters do affect sound but not as expected.
It seems like a hardware problem tho I haven’t notice anything unusual while inspecting pcb.
I tried to cleaned everything also with a contact cleaner.
No luck.

Have anyone here experienced this issu? 
Any solution?

I sent an email to Koma to ask for repair but I they say they currently only support for issues under warranty…
I bought that thing more than 2 years ago… :/

hi everyone,

i recently baught a Field Kit and a Field Kit Expansion Pack and just got around to experimenting a bit. 

it appears to me that i'm experiencing a sort of inverse phenomenon with the solenoid motor from what is described in the FAQ. i'm connecting the solenoid to the field kit like so:


the solenoid is only reacting to the oulse when i preload the spring a bit. please see the short clip showcasing the phenomenon: https://www.dekonstruktiv.org/temp/koma.mp4

it does not seem to be the exact spring tension problem described in the FAQ, since preloading the spring like showcased in the clip should ADD spring tension. i'd be grateful for any pointers as to what's going on here and how to mitigat the problem. my current solution is to thread a couple of mini washers on the non-spring end of the actuator rod to keep the spring preloaded, but i'd like to come to grips wuith what's going on here.

Hope someone can help me with a BD101 analog/gate pedal.
one or more the opp-amps seems to be broken, but thera are 4 of it.

symptome: Gate and Delay are working, but at very low level. As soon as I give more gain with the gain-slider it become even weaker to zero. 

Does anyone have a circuit diagram or measuring advise familiar with this problem?  So I can figure where to find.

Any idease are welcome to let this sound schredder schream again.
