I'm wondering what the current status is on pre-orders for the second production run of the Chromaplane? Will they hit the geometry dash lite store and be available for regular purchase or is it another limited run offered to early purchasers?

The first batch sold out fast, so if you want to guarantee one, I’d definitely recommend locking in a pre-order. Once they stabilize production, they’ve hinted that the Chromaplane will become more of a regular catalog item rather than just a special run.
