I've been having no success getting one sequencer to change the sequence length of another; Sending CV out to the SEQ LGTH input should alter the sequence length, shouldn't it?  I have also tried GATE out and that basketball stars doesn't alter it either. 

I have set the output ranges from 5v and 9v and still can't get it to work.

I'd love some guidance.

It sounds like you’re on the right track, but many sequencers don’t actually accept continuous CV for sequence length — often it’s stepped, quantized, or requires a dedicated clock/reset logic instead. The SEQ LGTH input might only respond to specific trigger values or discrete voltages rather than a smooth CV. I’d double-check the module’s manual for expected voltage thresholds and whether it wants gates, triggers, or quantized CV. Sometimes a clock divider/multiplier or a sequential switch achieves the effect you’re after.
