  CV Transposing wrong sequencer
Posted by: Scarab - 11-12-2025, 05:00 AM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (2)

Basically, when I patch the CV of sequencer B into sequencer A's transpose port, it ALSO transposes sequencer C.  But it only transposes C by a half-step up or down total (in other words, it seems like the voltage transposing C where it shouldn't isn't as strong as normal, like it's getting a small amount of the voltage getting sent to sequencer A, if that's even possible! )

I have on of the new MIDI-transposing Komplexes  if that makes a difference.

I'm only sending clock from Logic to Sequencer A in this case, so I have no idea why B is also sending CV to a second sequencer when it's only patched to A.

Any help?

I tried resetting the Komplex and this didn't fix it.

Chromaplane tuning website not working on phone
Posted by: teeterr - 10-01-2025, 05:39 PM - Forum: Main Forum - No Replies

Hello,

does the Chromaplane tuning website work for you ok on a smartphone? It used to work on mine, but now it has stopped--no sound comes out. I am on an iPhone 15, iOS 18.6. Can live without it but just wondering, thanks!

  Chromaplane Second Run Pre-Order Question
Posted by: SaBr34 - 04-17-2025, 08:33 PM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (1)

Hi,

I'm wondering what the current status is on pre-orders for the second production run of the Chromaplane? Will they hit the store and be available for regular purchase or is it another limited run offered to early purchasers?

Thanks

Chromaplane makes sound even with nothing plugged in
Posted by: hatmansaxplayer - 04-17-2025, 03:42 PM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (3)

I just got my Chromaplane yesterday! (Backer 250) So exciting! It's a lot of fun and a great instrument. And all the extra attention to small details is very nice. I especially loved the included photo with message!

Anyway, one thing I'm wondering about is that when I plug the Chromaplane into my mixer from the delay out, without either pickup plugged in, I can hear all the oscillators playing at once, faintly, but there's definitely a hum. I can hear it at even the slightest volume levels, and it of course goes up with an increase in volume. I tried several cables, and I tried two mixers, my Soundcraft, and the Field Kit mixer as well. I also moved the Chromaplane around on my desk in case something was interfering. But no change.

I can hear it from the Filter Out as well, but not from the Env out.

I tried plugging in headphones instead, and I couldn't hear the sound then, but that might just be due to the headphones not having any additional amplification.

Any ideas what might be the culprit? Or is this the intended functionality?

  Antenna for FM Radius
Posted by: glenoliff - 03-29-2025, 05:47 PM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (4)

Hi it says that an external antenna can be used for the FM Radius module but doesn't specify how to connect. Is it just a specific gauge of unshielded wire? Can someone provide some guidance here? Thanks in advance!

Speaker out on the field kit not working
Posted by: Sandy303 - 03-28-2025, 05:14 PM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (2)

Is the speaker out on the field kit not working a known thing? Or am I just unlucky?
Got my field kit a couple of weeks ago and it all seemed fine. I got the expansion kit today, plugged the speaker in and nothing. The speaker itself is working, I've tested it with other things.
Now looking at having to return the field kit, but if this is going to be a recurring thing then I would be as well getting my money back.

can't get sequence length to change
Posted by: Scarab - 03-02-2025, 09:04 PM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (2)

I've been having no success getting one sequencer to change the sequence length of another; Sending CV out to the SEQ LGTH input should alter the sequence length, shouldn't it?  I have also tried GATE out and that doesn't alter it either.

I have set the output ranges from 5v and 9v and still can't get it to work.

I'd love some guidance.

  Basic patching confusion
Posted by: MrGladstone - 02-21-2025, 10:48 AM - Forum: Main Forum - Replies (5)

Hi everyone.  Glad to have found this place!

I have a really basic question for you guys. I have never used a patched system before so am lacking some basic knowledge. Hopefully you can help!

On many patch examples (Patch 1 Rockabilly etc), the diagram shows:

audio signal > delay input. Delay input > CH 1 VCA mixer.

My question is: how is this achieved? Only one patch point (delay input) but two source/destinations? How can delay input be connected to two sources simultaneously?

Hope that makes sense.
