Hi, I the DC interface was working well with a walkman. Following the LFOs signal. Then didnt anymore. I have tried it with the solenoid and it doesnt work but it does work with the motor. Please help. I particularly got this to mess with the speed of a tape machine.

Hii :)
Do you change the mode between PWM and Pulse when you change the motor? With a solenoid you should use the Pulse mode. If that changes nothing let us now to have a deeper look into that (hope is not the case :D )

Hello-
I'm having this same issue. My DC motor works fine, but my solenoid is unresponsive. I've tested the solenoid with a wide range of different settings and the result is the same. I've also ordered two separate solenoids from Koma to test the functionality of the motors. I'm now going to try to make my own motor and see if this works. I've noticed that within Koma's FAQ section they suggest that any solenoid should work so long as it is under 9V and <500mA. Is this so? It seems like the solenoid that ships from Koma is 12VDC and 300ma. Would it make sense to use a lower voltage (lower than 12VDC) solenoid with the unit?

Same exact issues here. Has anyone got a response about these issues?

Hello!
in the DC interface section, the motor should work if: -the switch is set to PWM -you turn the intensity clockwise (rotation speed will increase) the solenoid should work if: -the switch in the DC INTERFACE section is set o PULSE -you patch a cable in the CV/TRIG from the LFO OUT (Waveform in pulse/square mode). -you turn the intensity clockwise (intensity of the solenoid travel will increase) If this is not the case, then something is not functioning properly. In that case is better to reach the support. JJ
