Chromaplane External Input LED Always On - takeout - 07-29-2026
Hello! I just received my Chromaplane from a reseller (thanks, tarriffs!) and I've got a strange issue.
From startup, the "external input" light (the bottom left hole) is always lit, and when I hover a pickup over it, I hear a slightly quieter unison of what appears to be all of the coils in the unit. I have tested this by messing with the tuning while holding over the bottom left coil, and I can hear the oscillators changing tune.
Is this some kind of undocumented secret feature? Could there be something wrong with my unit? It was a B-Stock unit from Perfect Circuit, so maybe it was a pre-production unit?
