eurorack power supply is not working / kit fx - butter - 12-29-2024
Hi!
I decided to add an FX Kit to my Eurorack case, but it doesn't power on from the ribbon cable.
When I switch the jumpers to 9V, it works fine from the power adapter.
The ribbon cable works — other modules power on from it without any issues.
The problem is definitely with the FX Kit itself.
Can you advise on how to make it work?

Hello butter.
Are all 3 jumpers (red ones) in the upper positions correctly inserted?
Also, try gently push the jumpers on a side while powering. it might be the jumpers themselves are a little worn out for some reason and they don't make a good connection.
Also is very important that the square plastic protection is in place on top of the jumpers when you close again the unit. This isolate the voltage on the jumpers from the other board above. If this protection is not in position, the module won't work
